CB Soap & Candle Co. is a woman owned and operated business, that was born from the love of good smelling things, an appreciation for natural ingredients, the enjoyment of handcrafting and a touch of entrepreneurial spirit. The company was founded with the vision of combining all those elements and more into sensory pleasing body care products and candles. Handmade with love in small batches, in Plainfield, New jersey, our products are inspired by simple, yet welcoming aromas, often times reminiscent of the crafters' Guyanese heritage.

Our crafter, Christine, had long imagined creating her own soap and candle products, but when the pandemic began, and she found it impossible to find quality cleansing products at her local stores, she rolled up her sleeves and finally put her dream into action and began soaping in an effort to combat the shortage in her community and provide soap products to her family. From there she began to expand into candles and other body care products.

Our mission is to create great smelling products that are healthy for the skin, and free of harmful detergents and chemicals. All of our products are tested on our family before deemed appropriate for sale.
